THE BOOKS

Lead In Trinidad

Lead in Trinidad brings to life a fearless lawman by the name of Lewis M. Kreeger.  The realities of the American West were filled with suspense, action, intrigue and romance. Roaming outlaws, the rustic cowboys, the fashionable madams, and the Native American Indians made up the American West landscape.

One star worn by lawman Lewis M. Kreeger outshines the violence that came to be known as, “The Wild West.” Lead in Trinidad is a biographical anthology of how life existed in the American West during the days of the Santa Fe Trail.  Lawman Kreeger stood tall as he brought law and order to an early 1860 Trinidad settlement.  Lewis M. Kreeger, a living legend in his time.  Lead in Trinidad a collection of inspiring western events during a man’s law enforcement career.

Lead In Trinidad II

Lead in Trinidad II, Lawman – Gunman, is more than a western as it captures the story of the everyday life of an early settlement (Trinidad) in the Southern Rockies of Colorado.  The stories are all inclusive to the territories that extended as far as Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona.

From the Texas Longhorn trailing cowboys to the cattle rustlers that made the Oklahoma neutral strip their home - there is western suspense throughout the prairie grasslands, the canyon lands, and the Rocky Mountains

2 Turkeys In A Tree

2 Turkeys in a Tree, is a children’s story that will be loved by the young at heart. A refreshing story about its two main characters - Tom Turkey Senior (Sr.) and Tom Turkey Junior (Jr.).  There is nothing magical about the story other than the lesson to listen wisely to those with good words of advice.  Every page of the book displays beautiful painting, illustrations, and photography.  Released 2017.

Treasure Chest of Hidden Family History

If you have ever wondered about your family ancestry and those that came before you then you have picked the correct book.  The majority of individuals that live in this world have limited knowledge beyond the period of their grandparents.  A very small percent of individuals have history on their great grandparents.  Beyond the great grandparents family history falls into the hands of ancestry records, to genealogists and other independent researchers.

If you have ever wondered about family that migrated to the North American Continent or family that lived in Europe, Asis, Africa or the many other countries and territories in this world, then you will surprised on what you can discover. Be prepared for the experiences that you will find.  Some experiences might be earth shattering, but some experiences might be far more than you could have ever imagined.  Released 2020.

Peace Poetry

My book titled "Peace Poetry" is more than a book on poetry. It's a miracle book that captures American History during the early years of the 1900s.  A time period that found the United States fighting wars with its European Allies during World War I and World War II.

Over 200 pieces of poetry within the first section of the book were written by a dedicated poet. Her amazing poetry earned her one award after another.  This poet didn't dedicate her writing to a selected and limited number of  subjects, as I was able to sort them into 44 different topic selections.  The topic selections start with ancestry and end with weather.

Peace Poetry is a miracle book saved by a caring soul as hundreds of pieces of beautiful poetry were destined for the nearest landfill.  Poetry that can now be read and enjoyed by the warm at heart.

At the tail-end of the book I have included some twelve pieces of my poetry that came from my 2020 Memoir titled, A Time to Remember and not One to Forget.  Poetry that touches on COVID-19 and the sacrifices that we all had to make.

From the beautiful front cover to the back cover that captures six Marines raising the American Flag at Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima, Japan on Feb. 23, 1945;  Peace Poetry is one book to be read by one and all.

Spirit of the West - Annie & Rex

This story is based on a true event that took place on a 7000 foot plateau on the Navajo Nation in northern Arizona.  The event is a once in a life time experience that is not easily forgotten.

Based on the event I capitalized on the experience and immediately knew that it had the foundation to become a great children's book.

My photography tells the rest of the story with landscape scenes that capture the beauty of the territory west of the Missouri.  The Southwest and western landscapes make for the rest of what is to come.  The canyon lands, the arches, the hoodoos, slot canyons and so much more.

The book was written as a children's book, but the story is one for anyone at any age.  Experience the west and be sure to tell your friends.
